SACRU stands for South African Christian Rappers United, and is part of the international body: Christian Rappers United (CRU). SACRU has been established as a non-profit, Section 21 organization made up of vocalists; musicians; producers; promoters; DJs; activists; and labels that operate in South Africa and have strong bias towards the Christian Rap or Hip-Hop genre.

Plans for the FIRST CHRISTIAN HIP HOP IMBIZO are underway. What is this? A forum for all artists,Dj's,Promoters,Marketers etc. Why? Do discuss the current state of the genre in Africa and how we can collectively move it forward.Who's invited?Anyone and everyone.When? Early 2015.

We are expecting representatives from Zambia,Kenya, Zimbabwe,Kenya,Rwanda,Uganda,Botswana and many other neighboring countries. If you are interested email chhimbizo@sacru.org.za
